"Three titles in two years is okay," said SG coach Maik Machulla at Sky Sport News HD: "I'm happy that we're going home with a positive feeling. It was a game at eye level, in the end we won happily." Best Flensburg thrower in front of 9713 spectators in Düsseldorf was Johannes Golla with eight goals. For the German record champion, Niclas Ekberg, Magnus Landin and Domagoj Duvnjak scored five goals each in the 100th national derby of the two clubs.
