Important information about the All Star Game 2020

The LIQUI MOLY HBL All Star Game at the ZAG Arena Hannover (formerly TUI Arena) cannot be held as planned on May 16, 2020, due to the Corona pandemic and the accompanying regulatory requirements. Handball-Bundesliga GmbH refers to the decision to restrict public life to contain COVID19, which was recorded by the German Chancellor and the heads of government of the federal states on April 15.

The decreed ban on major events until August 31, 2020 makes it impossible to hold the planned end-of-season event in front of up to 10.000 handball fans on the said date. The All Star Game of German handball, which was to be held at the ZAG Arena in Hanover on May 16, 2020, has therefore been canceled. The basic ticket price of the 6.000 tickets sold will be refunded to the purchasers.

If you have any questions about ticket refunds, feel free to contact us at ticketing@liquimoly-hbl.de.

Handicapped parking spaces
In the car parking areas (East 14, 15, South 26, 28), parking spaces are kept free for handicapped visitors near the entrance and are subject to the same charges as the regular car parking areas. Individual free disabled parking spaces are available on Weltausstellungsallee near the pedestrian bridge.

Please note the parking ban on the EXPO Plaza
The Expo Plaza has already been used as a parking area for several events, this has caused considerable traffic problems on the Expo Plaza and with the departure traffic.
The Expo Plaza is designated as a pedestrian zone by the city of Hanover. We would therefore like to point out to visitors to the TUI Arena that parking on the Expo Plaza is generally prohibited. The police will nevertheless have cars parked there removed from the Expo Plaza for a fee.
Officially usable parking spaces in sufficient number are located in the immediate vicinity of the TUI Arena.
